Research shows that children exposed to poverty are less likely to emerge as leaders because they lack quality educational opportunities that help to develop the important social and cognitive skills that are characteristic of leaders.

 

When these children become adults, they typically end up with low-paying jobs and usually cannot afford to pay for the coaching and personal growth and development training that they need to reach their full potential, which perpetuates a cycle of poverty.

 

As someone who has spent over a decade pursuing justice for the disadvantaged, I believe it is just to make leadership development opportunities accessible and affordable to all who desire to grow regardless of socioeconomic background, hence Improbable Leadership.

 

As an improbable leader myself, I know for a fact that leadership coaching and training can be a powerful tool for individuals from low-income and less privileged backgrounds, to help them unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
